Alila Mayakoba (formerly Andaz Mayakoba) is set to open in early 2026, marking the Hyatt Alila brand’s first hotel in Latin America. Set across 60 acres of mangroves and freshwater canals, the sustainable-focused resort is designed to seamlessly connect with its natural surroundings.

Its 182 rooms, suites, and villas unfold like private sanctuaries, with architecture that blends into the landscape and interiors shaped by local woods, Mérida limestone, and regional artisans. Several guest rooms also include a private pool.

Wellness is a core pillar of the hotel offerings. From sunrise rituals inspired by ancient traditions to a spa complete with open-air hydrotherapy, meditation gardens, and cenote-inspired spaces. Guests can take part in cultural experiences, including tortilla-making workshops, chef-led market tours, and beekeeping experiences in nearby villages. In addition to a signature restaurant, the new beach club will host live music and chef-led fire-roasted fish feasts by the shore, a Chef’s Atelier, and more.
